Provincie Zuid-Holland


The province of Zuid-Holland is an economically vital and divers province with approximately 3,5 million inhabitants on an area of 3000 km2. It is the most densely populated province and hosts universities in Leiden, Delft and Rotterdam. To allow for all the activities to take place in a proper fashion a superb infrastructure network is essential. Everybody should be allowed to travel safely and efficiently by public transport, bicycle, car or boat. Efficiency in freight transport is essential for Zuid-Holland both for land and water to stimulate the Dutch economy and living environment. With three universities contributing to innovations and facilitating pilots and demonstrators it is of key importance to stay ahead and learn from new developments.
