Francis Ostermeijer


Francis Ostermeijer comes from an international background (having lived in Australia, Azerbaijan, Portugal and Indonesia). He completed an MSc in Economics at EUR and specialised further with an MSc in Spatial economics at the VU Amsterdam. Currently he is investigating the implications of driverless cars on the spatial structure of cities together with Prof. Jos van Ommeren and Dr. Hans Koster. The study will focus on using revealed prefence methods to gain insight into how automomous cars will influence the location decisions of firms and households, household sorting, agglomeration economies and parking demand.
