Haneen Farah

Assistant Professor at the Transport and Planning (T&P) department, at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences at Delft University of Technology. Her research focuses on the overlap between road geometric design, road user behaviour and traffic safety, while taking into account the advances in vehicle technology and automation. She combines elements from the transport systems’ analysis, behavioural and human factors sciences, and econometrics. Currently at the T&P department she is involved in several national and international projects such as HFAuto (Human Factors of Automated Vehicles), WEPods (Realisation of a pilot with two self-driving vehicles), Allegro project (Unravelling slow mode traveling and traffic), and STAD project (Spatial and Transport Impacts of Automated Driving). In the STAD project she is involved in Work Package 4, Urban design & Traffic safety.
